An update

Neon shoes + fabric paint = A Bad Idea

Also

If my post yesterday wasn't enough, Steph Su has posted an interview with me as her Friday Featured Blogger! Her blog is one of my favourites, with very thoughtful book reviews - if she likes a book then I try to look out for it. Thanks for having me Steph.

Also also,

Lenore said she'd like to see my uninteresting cat. So here she is. She hates the camera, so this is actually quite rare to get a photo with her eyes open.

Despite what you might think from my description of her, I do actually like Sophie. But it can't be denied that she doesn't do very much. She's very good at lying but I don't think this counts as interesting like sitting in a pan does. And she definitely wouldn't let me put scrabble tiles on her.

  1. LOL! Well, she does have a very annoyed expression on her face. So that has to count for something!

  2. wait a second, your cat's name is sophie??! Mine too! Hah! :-D it's so hard to get a good pic of my cat too-she's so hyper and restless. The flash will go off, and she'll be across the room. Your cat looks like a mellowed out tiger, (with brown stripes instead of orange).

  4. She does look quite wary, I hadn't noticed. She really doesn't trust me with the camera!

That's cool Amy! My cat's called Sophie after the Dick King Smith character my brothers and I loved when we were little -

  6. I think you have a great cat! :D

I let a message on Steph Su's page, but I wanted to tell you the interview was great! You did an awesome job answering, and it was good to know you a little better :)

  8. Thanks infiniteshelf!

I wish Sophie liked the camera, but the best I can hope for is that she doesn't shut her eyes and turn her back on me!

Laina, I'm sorry but I've just moved back into my uni halls, leaving the terrible shoes behind. I'll get a photo of them when I go back if I remember.

  9. Lol, okay. :) That's cool. The only thing I'm worrying about is whether I think I'd wear them. They sound strangely appealing. XD

  10. I promise you wouldn't wear them. They still have patches of neon and the fabric paint wasn't very accurate, so basically there's splodges of colour. Unless maybe for a fancy dress party :) (that is why I had neon shoes in the first place)

  11. What size feet do you have? LOL!! I like random things.

  12. Size 5/6 UK-wise. I have no idea how that compares to US sizes though. You know, kind of average size ;)

  13. Neither do I, my shoes are Canadian sized, lol. My feet are big, though, lol.

  14. Oh. I should know that, sorry! I think mine are normal-ish!
